| it is always wofrednul to hear about few work is doing for a cause.As i understand infact IEM is totally team work. and newborn screening is first step to pick the some treatable disorders In NBS, there is FEW difficulty and it should sort out1= no way to gives a wrong impression. All such screen positive cases need further confirmation. 2= NBS implement in nation wide infact with early treatment and diet managment , only all of these combind efforts we can save many neborns and try to give normal life BEST WISH FOR EVENTvikas bhatia |

| I feel 2012 year was a study year for IEM&NBS FOR awareness in India , It is weclome step that Kerala is starting newborn screening for a few common disorders in the government healthcare facilities just like GOA , I appeal to all government resources to please implant guidelines for NICU MANDATORY newborn screening with treatment and management, we parents deserve dx and our kids can be saved with early treatment and management. I also want to convey this message to all Labs who do NBS in India to please give correct interpretation of NBS results. | I think the results are rahter representative and provided some very valuable insights. We now know where we are strong at (selling points) and how we can improve ourselves.Prof Lewis, do you conduct this every year? It might be interesting to know if the trend will change over time :p |

| ich weidf nicht – ich bin da extrem scstpiekh… Ramsauer will die Trennung von s21 und NBS – er will, dass die neue Regierung noch vor der endgfcltigen Entscheidung fcber s21 versprechen, die 950 Mio ffcr die NBS zu zahlen… – die waren aber ein mf6glicher Ausstiegsgrund, weil mf6glicherweise verfassungswidrig, damit we4re das Aus ffcr die NBS auch das Aus ffcr s21. Wenn die neue Regierung sich auf den “Deal” mit Ramsauer einle4sst und unterschreibt, dass die NBS mitfinanziert wird, s21 aber noch nicht gestoppt ist, besteht dann nicht die Gefahr, dass dann eben s21 doch durchgezogen wird? Vorsicht ist die Mutter der Porzellankiste – ich trau dem Frieden nicht… |
